Ok, kids … we’re running out of suggestions – and before I pick up a phone book and start doing this the hard way … I want to open the floor to recommendations on new taco joints to try in the Harrisburg area.
Now, we typically take our lunch hour for this – and I work East of downtown by a few miles … so something in a 5 or 6-ish mile radius is great (Harrisburg, Steelton, Lower Paxton, etc) …

So anything you got for me – just leave a comment right here! -  I appreciate it. And, of course, if we pick your spot I’ll be thanking you publicly everywhere I post my next taco review…

Mexico Lindo Tacos

I’m enjoying a sunny Saturday morning inside.  Watching that old “Three Musketeers” movie from the 90’s and reflecting on the large amount of “known” actors in it.  I’m also still digesting my thoughts on yesterday’s taco outing.

Quick comparison to last week?  Funnier people.  Better carnitas.  Interesting pollo.  Tons of food for the price.

Better than last week?  I’m not sure yet.  This one, like the others, may take another visit or two. (continue reading…)

For lack of a better place to start, we’ll begin our story here and now.  It’s been 9 months since I moved back East from California (already?), and since about week two I’ve been craving one food more than any other … real freakin tacos.

Sure, I miss my Yoshinoya.  And I miss my Habit burger.  And my Animal Fries. And the best sushi I’ve ever tasted …  but the biggest hole in me that hasn’t come NEAR being filled is taco-shaped.  But  it’s not taco-night taco-shaped: I can get those anywhere.  Instead it’s kinda softish-barely-rolled-in-your-hand-and-dripping-everywhere shaped.
