Nowhere, PA – the Demo-ness
by admin on Jun.02, 2009, under Lyrics, My Music
Now, consider yourself special: I wasn’t supposed to realease this one for a couple months … but in a momentary lapse of secrecy I managed to bang out 150 “printed” copies of the song AND posted it here for you to listen to!
Nowhere Pennsylvania is one of my personal favorites. It began as a response to a friend who went a little crazy over unrequited feelings and ended four years later as an homage to that moment in your life when you realize you, and a friend you’ve known forever are just moving apart. Whether it’s platonic or romantic, we’ve all been through it. We’ve all lost our way or found a new one. If you haven’t, then I’m sorry. You haven’t lived enough. (continue reading…)

What it is: Appalachian Brewing Company 12th Anniversary Bash
Where it is: ABC Harrisburg, 50 N. Cameron Street
When it is: Outdoor stage about 4pm … doors for free Cracker (and BYTF and me!) @ 7:30
Get more info: ABC Harrisburg
It is a great honor I have received in grabbing the opportunity to make a short cameo at the 12th Anniversary bash for the Appalachian Brewing Company this Saturday. It’s not just that I get to sing for some bar’s birthday … it’s that I get to play a small spot before local favorite, Backyard Tire Fire, who in turn opens for someone else you may have heard of: a little band I like to call “Cracker”
I’m plugging this not just because I’m going to be there. But because I’m going to be there with free music for you. Free music that I’ll never copy onto disc and hand out again (so that makes it even special-er!) and to top that, the show is FREE in the first place!!
A million thanks to Jersey Mike, especially, and my many other friends and fans so far of course
Hope to see you at the show.
Song About a Boy: The Re-release

The Centralia Sinkhole
Ok. Music AS PROMISED!! This little beauty is a personal favorite of mine, and I hope you’ll enjoy it, too. As I’ve often been overheard saying, “This song is the first song I wrote about someone in particular. Be happy that someone isn’t you…”
Now, this could be the one time I’m wrong, and if I am: well, you know who you are – so, thanks for the inspiration
After all these years, songs like this are my catharsis – I don’t hold on to the angry anymore – but I don’t forget how to relate. I never could. Or I would forget myself.
So listen on. The new player is on the right sidebar for your enjoyment, or you can download it here.

Not only does The Tempest rock, but I’m in it, too!
by admin on May.27, 2009, under My Misadventurous Life, Websites
I want to take this first moment to apologize publicly for my bad-friend-ness and overall inexcusable behavior, not having published this post sooner.
“One dark and stormy night two lost souls in Manhattan find themselves on the brink of major life decisions. It is a point of no return, a tempest; emotions are high and so are the stakes, and the only thing certain is that after tonight, everything changes…”
